ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mewar University was established in 2009 under the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The department offers Ph.D, M.Tech and B.Tech Courses in Mechanical Engineering.
The department is well-equipped with state-of-the-art workshops and laboratories, which have high-quality machines and equipment for teaching and research purposes. The laboratories are managed by well-trained and experienced lab technicians who assist students and faculty members in their experiments and research.
The department has a team of highly qualified and experienced teachers who are committed to providing quality education to the students. The faculty members are actively involved in research and have published several papers in reputed journals.
The courses offered by the department are approved by UGC (University Grants Commission, India) and AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education, India) and accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council, India). INFRASTRUCTURE
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mewar University has a wide range of machines and equipment for teaching and research purposes. The department has over 130 machines, including lathes, milling machines, drilling machines, shaping machines, grinding machines, CNC machines, and other specialized machines.
The department has invested over 1 crore Rs. in lab equipment to ensure that students have access to the latest technologies and equipment. The investment in lab equipment enables students to gain hands-on experience and practical skills that are essential for a career in mechanical engineering.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mewar University offers several facilities to enrich the learning experience of its students. The classrooms are equipped with projectors to supplement lectures with visual aids such as diagrams, videos, and animations. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mewar University provides its students with the opportunity to participate in a 6-month internship program.
